Fontenot Named to NASA Committee
November 14, 2005 – Dean Fontenot, Ph.D., a director of the Center for Engineering Outreach, has been named to the steering committee for the Revolutionary Aerospace Systems Concepts Academic Linkage (RASC-AL) program.
2006 Teacher Training Workshop Dates Announced
November 1, 2005 – Deciding how to announce our teacher training workshops to the whole state of Texas was a daunting challenge. However, choosing the largest science conference in the country seemed like a good place to start.

October 18, 2005 – Nancy Owens Schunke, a science and engineering instructor at Dunbar Middle School, has been named a national finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching.
