Major: Mechanical Engineering

Hometown: Midland, Texas

Why I'm a mentor

I applied because I want to challenge students to use their creativity at a different level. I want to show them that they can learn in many different ways and find new ways to use their minds. I also want to encourage them to continue their education by going to college and pursuing a career they enjoy.

What I'm working on

I'm currently taking basic courses because I am a freshman. I will start getting into my upper level mechanical engineering courses next semester.

As a Red Raider I'm interested in building engines that are good for the environment and easy to work on.

Why I like Texas Tech

I picked Texas Tech because the engineering school always stood out and it is close to home. I also like Lubbock.

What I plan to do

After I graduate, I plan to go to graduate school and continue my education. During the summer, I plan to get internships and find a company that I will enjoy working for.
