Why I'm a mentor
I've volunteered with the Center for Engineering Outreach during the past year and enjoyed it a lot. Also, I feel a need to give something back to society.
What I'm working on
I'm currently active in several student organizations including Tau Beta Pi and the Student Engineering Council. I'm also president of Tau Beta Pi.
In my major, I work on lots of things, but most of my time is taken up by activities with Pi Tau Sigma and studying for my design class.
My main research interest is wind power, and I am currently building a small 300 watt wind turbine in my design class.
Why I like Texas Tech
Texas Tech has a small school feel with a large student body.
What I plan to do
I want to get my master's and Ph.D. in research areas relating to sustainable power.
